Brighter Colours brings a breath of fresh air to the Belgian alternative rock scene. With 5 members having played together on and off in several bands over the years and all across Europe, Brighter Colours blends a lot of influences and musical backgrounds.

The result? A distinctive sound that's not easily compared to any other band in today's rock scene. The first single Shelflife, which debuted on 26 November 2024, is a first glimpse of what to expect.

With just a hint of CHVRCHES in singer Femke Govaerts' voice and meticulously layered compositions of guitars and electronics, Brighter Colours offers a unique take on decades of great music that inspired its members.

Lyrically, the band takes you on a journey through personal yet recognisable stories. Tales of life, love and loss, with mental health as a constant roadside companion. Always honest, always hopeful.
