Mijn naam is Elisabeth. Ik vertoef al sinds zolang ik mij kan herinneren in een muzikaal bad, waarin ik sinds een paar jaar met eigen nummers rondspetter. Ik heb van kindsaf in een koor gezongen en zoek in mijn eigen muziek en spel de kriebels op die ik toen voelde.

My name is Elisabeth. Ever since I can remember I have lived in an ocean of music and sounds, where for a few years now I have dived into the wave of writing my own songs. I have been singing in choirs ever since I was a kid and I try to bring out the same tickles and feeling in my music as I felt when singing.

I search for beauty and depth and mirror the real world with my imagination to tell a story of and for many. My poetry travels the complex landscapes of the human mind and is just as simple and laughable at the same time.

To tell a tale in song, it is all my heart longs for.

I speak of “music of the heart” as this universal language does not distinguish between cultures or languages. It is like water and goes where it cannot flow, as such my songs are in Dutch, English, French, nonsense, …
