Brussels-based pop singer-songwriter The Bryn (pronounced "brain") defied expectations to pursue her passion for music. As a Rwandese refugee, she began her musical journey in 2011, teaching herself guitar while living in an asylum seeker center.

Her debut EP Middle 8 (2020) followed a breakout performance at L’Olympia (Paris) in 2019, earning her the cover of KnackFocus in 2020. Now 25, The Bryn is currently working on two new EPs—one in French, the other in English—blending electronic-pop-rock energy with the emotional depth and genre-bending spirit that define her sound.

The Bryn is an ever-evolving study of the mind and soul of a Queer Afropean Pop Star. Constantly seeking self-discovery through others and through her past, she crafts a sound as layered as her journey. Her mission goes beyond music—she uplifts and empowers, creating space for others to express themselves.

Her latest single, "Complicated," marked a bold new chapter—setting the stage for what’s next.
