After two EPs that firmly established him in Belgium, Edouard van Praet is now releasing his debut album, ‘Mascarades’, a logical but bold follow-up to his previous rock experiments (‘Doors’ in 2021, ‘Cycles’ in 2022). The album features predominantly French vocals and an openness to electronic sounds.

Between haunted Tom Waits-style ballads and feverish techno blasts, he blurs the boundaries between genres with disconcerting ease. An iconoclastic and eclectic approach, but consistent in his constant quest for adventure. On stage, the energy is raw, the show wild, oscillating between rock, glam and techno in controlled chaos. With his attitudes of damned crooner and mannered punk, Edouard imposes a magnetic stage signature that leaves no one indifferent.
